I rode to the Y this morning at 5:11 under cloudy skies and a light breeze with comfy temps. Hip Guy and another regular were chatting about the weather, rain chances, tomorrow’s election, etc. The water was a bit chillier than its been in some time.
I didn’t count laps but swam for 30+ minutes instead. My head was busy with lots of thoughts, too many to keep up with how many laps I completed. Hip Guy asked me if I had a new record or ran out of steam. I told him I ran out of steam and just didn’t have it. I had swimming fatigue.
I went for a cracker walk around 3 pm under a mix of clouds and sun and a light breeze. Lots of acorn hats to crack despite the overnight rain that softened the grounded hats.

I'm sorry that you ran out of steam on your swim. That chilly water is bound to have made a difference. xxx
