We only rode for fun today as we didn’t have errands to run. We rode on the nearly-completed Violet Crown Trail North; the only visible projects left on that part of the Trail are the pouring of the entrance and exit’s concrete approach at the trail heads.
This morning our thrivin’ consisted of walking around the Texas State Capitol building whose rotunda is higher than the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. We also took note of the memorials to the Civil War and post-9/11 fallen.
We enjoyed our first watermelon of the summer season today. Delicious.
Mary, that slice of watermelon is incredible! 🍉
