I rode to the Y at 5:13 am under clear skies and the super moon. The moon was bright white when I left home and deep orange after my swim as it moved toward the horizon. It was so beautiful.
Hip Guy was there as usual, the doors opened promptly. I was in the water at 5:34 and within minutes, every lane was full. The water was magnificent and I had a good swim.
Lap counting issue today: I lost count on lap 25: I went back to 24 instead of ahead to 26, but I wasn’t certain what lap I was on, so I stuck with 24, then repeated 25. I’d rather swim more than less for any workout.
Work was a happy hum and coffee consumed at a rapid pace. I had time for two BrewTime© Post-Its. Thanks to Julie B Hughes author of Run to Write for the beaver inspiration.
Jim rode to amoeba around 1 pm and had a good swim, nice and easy. There was a wall-hanger (someone who stands in the pool, hangs on the edge with one’s back to the water, reading a book or watching a video with the book or device on the pool deck), but she wasn’t in his path.
Good morning Mary B! Moon views were not possible last night, as heavy cloud cover and misty drizzle was our featured attraction.
I wonder if the wall hanger woman tells her friends that she went swimming?
Have the bestest day possible today!
