Today’s weather: approached hot as temps rose to 90F/32.22 under a mix of sun and clouds. The heat index on parts of my route home is a good 10 degrees warmer than the basic temperature, so I’m thankful my schedule kept me from commuting.
Note: when I can’t slide into summer heat slow by slow, I tend to feel nauseous if all of sudden, there I am, with “feels like” temps creeping toward triple digits with little or no breeze.
Today’s riding: the only riding was Jim’s short trip this afternoon to the corner gas station to buy lightbulbs for his truck.
I didn’t draw any BrewTime© notes at work as there was a video production crew in the office at 7:30 am. That kind of brouhaha topples the normal, so I sat it (drawing) out.
At home, we have a fridge full of strawberries, soon to be jam. I’ll be jammin’.
Jim was able to get the truck bulbs at the corner service station?! Oh, relief! Can’t get over that other daft fellow not having somewhere suitable to lock up your bikes. And yes, more jam! Excellent.
Jammin'! Oh YEAH!!! 🍓
