We biked to the amoeba pool at 8 and had good swims. The water was perfect, the morning cool(ish), the sky was a mix of sun and clouds. We were the only ones there until the end of my swim, when two others arrived, one to lie in the sun, the other to clean the pool filters.
I rode to the library to return books and DVDs and found a couple of Acorn TV series we haven’t seen as well as two books, Downsize by Sheri Koones and Watercolor Life by Emma Block.
Also this morning, we saw a Banded Sphinx moth on the sidewalk and it was amazing. It was very still so Jim nudge it and its wings went into overdrive.
On the art front, quick sketches just for fun . . .
Great books, beautiful moth!, lovely art.
Re the downsizing, have you ever watched George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces? Inspirational!

Hugs from afar. 🤗🤗
I love your art, Mary - and nature's art by way of the moth is absolutely incredible - I've never seen anything like it!
